If heaven had hands they would feel alot like Jamecia's. Atlanta's Baby Consultant (ABC), Jamecia Ledgister, was the perfect professional doula for my family and I. I began working with ABC early in my first pregnancy in 2021. I selected ABC because of Jamecia's expansive knowledge of both the medical and more natural aspects of pregnancy and birth. She thoroughly answered every question my husband or I had from early pregnancy through post partum. She called or texted me weekly to check in. She lovingly helped me navigate my anxieties during pregnancy and my recovery during post partum. She has a calm kind demeanor that even my three day old son found comforting. As first time parents her expertise and hands on approach helped my husband and I immensely during my recovery. Her help caring for our new born during post partum visits was a God send!! I was able to be confident and certain when I went to my doctor's visit because Jamecia talked me through everything prior and debriefed each visit afterwards. All of her information was consistent with my medical team's. She was a constant source of comfort and someone I could rely on to be physically present for me since my closest friends and family are out of state. She worked intentionally to build a relationship with my family and to understand our goals and values as parents. She never told us what to do but gave us detailed information to assist us in making the best choices for our birth experience. Her birth education sessions and birth preparation session left me feeling very prepared for labor and delivery. She was an excepted source for lactation support as well. She was very communicative and flexible concerning scheduling and did an excellent job working around our schedules. Finally, she wore a mask every single time for the full duration of each of her visits. I highly recommend ABC.

If you want to have an amazing birth experience where you feel supported then you should definitely book Atlanta's baby consultant. I was a nervous first-time mom and the support that I received made my experience so much better. Jamecia is very knowledgeable, supportive, responsive, patient and addresses all questions and concerns. I am so happy that she was my doula!

There are not enough words to express all that I have to say about my experience with Jamecia as my doula. It was everything my wife and I could've imagined and so much more! It wasn't just a successful birth experience but also a learning experience. She made me feel so comfortable, safe, and vulnerable enough to trust her and that my body could do what it was made to do. She was not only my support and guidance during my birthing months but also became a trusted friend I could call anytime when I needed her even after my birth and in the first six weeks of daughter being born. The physical support she offered during birth was beyond words and truly got me through my birthing experience at my hardest and lowest moments. The placenta care and all that came in the kit she sent afterwards was an amazing treat and surprise! I couldn't have done this without her. Can't wait to come back to her for baby number two! Our experience with Jamecia was amazing! We appreciated her knowledge and how informative she was at every appointment throughout our pregnancy. Not only that but she never made me feel like just another client. She made me feel so comfortable. The level of support she provided was unlike any I could have imagined during labor. AMAZING! my experience was amazing. This being my 2nd pregnancy, I knew there were certain things I wanted to do differently and the first thing I knew I wanted was a doula. Jamecia is amazing at what she does. Not only is this area of expertise her gift, but it is her passion. When my husband and I found out we were having our first child, she did not hesitate to offer us her full support, knowledge, and her heart to ensure a healthy mommy and pregnancy. She gave me so much knowledge about pregnancy, labor and delivery that she made me feel confident enough in myself and my body to birth my child. She made me aware of the ins and outs of hospital deliveries and gave me so much information that I was able to make informed decisions about what I did and did not want despite pressure from my doctors and hospital staff. At the last minute the hospital wouldn't allow her to be present for the delivery due to the health concerns behind COVID-19 but that didn't change anything. She was still actively involved through FaceTime calls and text messages before, during, and after my labor and delivery. She even helped boost my husband's confidence so that he was able to assist me and be the support I needed. She removed any fears or doubts we had about this journey. Equally as important, she has been there for my postpartum which has been very important to me as sometimes the mommies are forgotten. I would highly recommend A Baby Consultant for anyone who is looking to start a family or who on their journey into motherhood. My husband and I will definitely be working with her again in the future should we decide to have another child!

Jamecia is a Godsend! I had my first baby February 11th and it was definitely the hardest thing I ever had to do in life! When I was done my body was drained of everything. I had no energy and no desire to do anything. Jamecia came to my house, gathered my placenta and a week later I had a beautiful keepsake made out of my baby's umbilical cord, capsules, tincture, and these amazing chocolate treats that have helped me usher in my old self back to my body! The treats give you this pick me up that is really needed when your hormones are out of whack. Thank you so much Jamecia for everything you have done for me and continue to do for others. I appreciate you more than I can explain in words!

I'm so happy I found Atlanta's Baby Consultant! I was looking for someone to do placenta encapsulation amongst a few other post delivery items and I came across their info! Jamecia was wonderful from start to finish! She sent me amazing resources to help me not just post delivery, but throughout my 3rd trimester. She was always available via text and her products and professionalism are A1. If you're looking for prenatal and post delivery services, check them out! U won't be disappointed. Jamecia dropped the items off and walked me through how to use each one! I couldn't be more pleased!

I booked with Jamecia initially for lactation support but I left my appointment with so much more than just lactation education. I have heard about doula services before but didn't have much knowledge about them. She was very gentle and understanding of all my needs. I wish I had known more about having a doula in the beginning of my pregnancy. I left my appointment feeling better about breastfeeding and navigating postpartum. If we try again I definitely will use Jamecia in the future.
